In discovering the reason for poverty and lack, one point must be made clear: poverty and prosperity are outcomes which based on certain principles. Poverty is nothing but an outcome; it is an effect of a cause. The principles whose application give birth to prosperity and wealth is the same set of rules that create poverty.
Most people in lack don’t realize that poverty is as easy to produce as prosperity. Poverty and wealth are two sides of the same coin: they follow the exactly the same set of rules, however what creates the difference in the experience of lack and plenty is based on how these rules are applied. The same rules produce both wealth and lack.
By studying the rich versus the poor, we see a direct opposite in how they live their lives. Do the poor live think, talk the way they do because they are poor or did they become poor because of what they think, act and do with their time.
The rich or poor don’t think and act the way they do because they are rich or poor, they have the outcome they experience because of how they make use of their minds over time. Nothing just happens. Every effect is a result of a cause that is set in motion by the experiencer.
Poverty and prosperity are nothing other than consequences of what has been done over time. There are certain ways to think, attitudes and habits to have that will naturally pull success or failure to you. There are certain ways poor people think and how they act, that if you duplicate it you will produce a similar experience of poverty.
The cause of poverty lies in the way one thinks and acts. Put differently the reason behind lack boils down the belief system. All things are possible to him that believes is an eternal truth that holds on every person on earth. All things including poverty and prosperity are possible if you believe.
A close observation on the poor reveals their negative beliefs that further drive them deep in lack and want. Beliefs like “am not good enough”, “me? Millionaire. Not me.”, “I cant make it”, “this life is so hard” etcetera. These beliefs restrict them from taking actions that can lead to their prosperity and wealth. They remain in the “land” of “it cannot be done”. In their view, these beliefs may seem as accurate description of their state but it is actually a self-fulfilling prophecy which might not have been if their belief was positive.
